After the win against Athletic Club (0-3), FC Barcelona has completed the 2024/2025 La Liga season. Barcelona’s Standings in the Champions League:
FC Barcelona had a very strong campaign in this Champions League, reestablishing the team as one of the top clubs in Europe. They advanced from the group stage as the second-best team, and then went on to eliminate Benfica and Borussia Dortmund.
In the semifinals, we faced Inter Milan in a very tightly contested tie — the first leg ended 3–3, and the second leg also finished 3–3. Unfortunately, we were knocked out in extra time after conceding a fourth goal, making it 4–3. (Total of 6-7).
Barcelona vs Real Madrid – Final Copa del Rey
A great final against our eternal rival: Real Madrid. El Clásico — the biggest match in world football — where we played for the Copa del Rey… and we won! Though not without suffering.
The match began with a 1–0 lead thanks to a goal from Pedri in the 28th minute. But then Real Madrid turned it around to 1–2 with goals from Mbappé and Tchouaméni. In the 84th minute, Ferran Torres made it 2–2, sending the game into extra time.
Then, in the 116th minute, a stunning goal from Koundé gave us the final victory and the trophy. That makes it 32 Copa del Rey titles — more than anyone else.
La Liga: 1nd place with 88 points, We won the league already!, Real Madrid is second with 84 points. Atlético de Madrid is third with 76 points. Champions League: They lost in the semifinals against Inter Milan (3-3 draw in the first leg and 4-3 in the second, 6-7 on aggregate). Copa del Rey: we won the final vs Real Madrid (3-2) and won our 32 Copa del Rey trophy. Also we son the Spain Supercup winnin Athletic Club in semifinals and Real Madrid on the final (5-2).
